It has been quite a while since I have done smaller oil paintings, so decided to plunge in and do a series of the somewhat smaller "Big Five", there is quite a freedom in doing these smaller pieces and I thoroughly enjoyed it. These are all animals we saw on safari last year, so much inspiration. I am excited about our next safaris which are August September 2016 to Botswana and Namibia and then a second one to Botswana and Zambia.
